The new Gaia Spa is a purpose built wellness spa located at 5 Star Boringdon Hall – a 16th century luxury manor hotel - in Plymouth, Devon. Inspired by the Greek goddess Gaia, also known as Mother Earth, Gaia Spa has the philosophy of Your wellness, naturally and draws upon the goddess’ nurturing powers, layering her symbolism into the Gaia Spa treatments and decor.
Featuring an infinity pool, Hydrotherapy pool with outdoor swim through, heat experiences, including Finnish sauna, crystal steam room, salt steam room, laconium, herbal sauna, rasul, balneotherapy suite and shower experiences, as well as a state of the art gym, 12 dedicated treatment rooms, including two double rooms, deep relaxation room, beauty salon with champagne bar, spatisserie for nutritious dining, and outdoor areas for yoga and meditation, Gaia Spa is a completely unique place of wellness in Devon, designed with the need for complete wellbeing in mind.

SERVICES & CLASSES

Rooted in nature and healing, Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall features treatment menus from Gaia Spa’s own brand Gaia in addition to ESPA. All Gaia Spa treatments begin with a welcome foot ritual and consultation and cover massages, pre-and-postnatal specialties, facials, hot stone therapies, beauty services and full-day experiences. Spa menu highlights include the Total Holistic Ritual, which combines Balinese techniques with Lomi Lomi massage, a mud application and face treatment. Other notable experiences include the Royal Experience, a full-day option that comes with lunch, and the Poultice Massage boasting herbal compresses. Once revitalized, guests can stop by the salon for eyebrow shaping, a tan application, nails, waxing and hair styling, with the option of enjoying a glass of champagne from the beauty salon champagne bar.

Boringdon Hall features 40 rooms including The Royal Suite and Executive Suite – both featuring private Hot Tubs, traditional Four Poster Bedrooms and contemporary, pared-back styled Courtyard Rooms.  Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall offers luxury wellness for guests of Boringdon Hall, Spa Members and Day Spa guests. Gaia Spa features its own Spatisserie offering nutritional dining and delicious indulgences. Boringdon Hall offers à la carte dining in The Gallery Restaurant, informal dining with the bar menu served in The Great Hall and traditional and special edition, themed Afternoon Tea.

Boringdon Hall is comprised of 40 rooms and suites and two food and beverage outposts. The accommodations fuse the edifice’s architecture and opulent origins with modern comforts; dramatic bedposts and violet, plush furnishings are offset by practical lighting and contemporary workspaces.
The Great Hall is a casual eatery, plating burgers, brunch, sandwiches, cocktails and afternoon tea. Gallery Restaurant overlooks the Grand Hall; this intimate fine dining outpost serves a seasonal a la carte menu and complementing wine list.
Recently refurbished, every effort has been taken to meticulously restore and retain the dramatic architecture of each sleeping suite whilst offering all the mod cons you love. Courtyard Rooms are a short walk from the imposing manor house.The Royal Suite amplifies the indulgent personality of the hotel. The separate drawing room, spacious dining area and heated outdoor Jacuzzi in your own private turret make this the ultimate love nest for romantic whisk aways.
