Award-winning wellness therapies and traditional Chinese practices make up the menu at the 1,710-square-meter Six Senses Spa at Qing Cheng Mountain. Exotic offerings—Ba Guan cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Chinese reflexology, as well as other treatments using Amala natural products and are performed in 10 Chinese- and Thai-style treatment rooms. Among the signature services are Six Senses facials and massages; each starting with a singing bowl ritual which is designed to deeply relax and relieve tension. Visiting practitioners come to the spa regularly to provide personal consultations and holistic therapies, and multi-day wellness programs are available for guests seeking a more extensive wellness journey.  Minimum spa age: 15.

Bathed in soft, natural hues, the 113 guest accommodations are positioned in semi-detached villas around the 246-acre property. Interiors embrace a mix of modernity and traditional Chinese style, mingling high-tech touches (smartphone apps that control air conditioning, lighting, and TV) with regional accents (antiques and local furnishings). Handsomely designed two- and four-bedroom courtyard villas showcase exposed timber beams and contemporary furniture. Some even come equipped with private pools.
Cuisine at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain promotes innovative flavor and artful presentation. Dishes are a variety of international fare, including Chinese, western, and Thai, all prepared with fresh, organic produce, herbs, and spices sourced from the resort’s gardens.
