Sonnenalp Spa totals nearly 10,000 square feet, with six massage rooms, three skin-care rooms, and one manicure/pedicure room. Skin-care and body treatments use Pevonia, Hylunia, HydraFacial, Kneipp, Skincando, and Ytsara product lines and include the spa’s signature facial and massage, which are customized to meet guests’ specific needs.

Facilities & AmenitiesSonnenalp Hotel guests can take advantage of the property’s close proximity to Vail and Beaver Creek, a renowned hub for winter enthusiasts with a combined 5,289 acres of terrain, 33 lifts, and complimentary ski and snowboard tours; in addition, guided Nordic skiing and snowshoeing excursions are available. At the base of the mountain, Sonnenalp guests will find heated indoor ski lockers.
Warmer seasons bring about hiking, freshwater fishing, and rounds on the Sonnenalp Golf Course, 15 miles from the resort; the concierge is on hand to help make arrangements. Landmarks like the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vilar Performing Arts Center, historic town of Leadville, and Glenwood hot springs are also worth exploring. Those vacationing with the little ones can make use of the KidVenture program.
